Reading Your Usage Page

What each tile, card and column on the Usage page means, including skills and cached input.

What the Usage Page Shows

The Usage page shows how your team is using TeamAI: how many people are active, how much they're doing, how many credits that uses, and which models, agents, tools and skills they're using.

Who can see it: workspace and organization owners. It isn't available on the Free plan.

Finding It

  • For one workspace: Settings → Usage

  • For a whole organization: Organization Admin → Usage, where you can view all workspaces together or pick one

Use the date selector in the top right to change the period. Everything on the page follows that selection.

The Tiles

  • Active users — how many members used TeamAI in the period, out of your total members

  • Adoption rate — the share of members active in the last 30 days

  • Prompts — messages people sent

  • Chats — conversations started, and the average prompts per chat

  • Credits — credits used in the period

  • Served from cache — the share of input that came from cache and billed at the lower rate

Credits and Served from cache appear on paid plans billed through TeamAI. If a tile shows a dash, there wasn't enough usage in that period to calculate it.

Credits & Tokens

This card breaks your usage into the three things you're billed for:

  • Full-rate input — new text the model hadn't seen before

  • Served from cache — repeated context, billed at a lower rate

  • Output — what the model wrote back

Below the bar, a line tells you what share of input was served from cache and what that means for your credits. For more on this, see Getting More From Your Credits.

The card also shows credits used this billing period against your plan's included credits, and any pay-as-you-go usage on top. In an organization, that billing section appears on the organization, not on each child workspace.

Activity Over Time

The chart plots the period you've selected, and you can switch what it measures: Prompts, Credits, Tokens, Conversations or Active users. Hover any point for the exact figure.

Skills

The Skills card shows which skills your team actually uses.

  • Switch between uses and users to see either how often a skill was used or how many people used it.

  • Each skill carries a badge showing where it lives: Core, Organization, Workspace or Personal. Personal skills show their owner's name, so you can see who is building what.

  • VIEW ALL opens the full table, with uses, chats and users per skill.

What counts as a use: a chat turn where the model actually read the skill's instructions. Listing a skill folder, or running a script inside it, doesn't count. A skill used across several turns counts once per turn.

Unknown skill means the model tried to read a skill that wasn't turned on for that chat. It's worth checking if you see it often, since it usually means someone expected a skill to be available.

Chats and users aren't totalled in the table, because one chat can use several skills, so the columns would not add up.

Explorer

The Explorer tab is the detailed view. Choose what to measure — prompts, credits or tokens — then group by model, user, agent, tool or skill. You can export any view to CSV.

When you group by model, user or agent, a From cache column shows how much of that row's own input was served from cache. It won't add up to 100% down the column, because each row is measured against its own input. Tools and skills don't have that column: a single turn can use several of them, so its tokens can't be split between them.

Grouping by skill always measures uses, for the same reason.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why don't I see the Usage page?

It's available to workspace and organization owners, on paid plans. If you're an owner and still don't see it, contact support.

Why does Served from cache show a dash?

There wasn't enough input in that period to work out a share. Try a longer period.

Why are credits missing from the skill and tool views?

One chat turn can use several tools and skills at once, and there's no accurate way to divide that turn's cost between them. Those views count how often each was used instead.

Do prompts and credits count the same things?

Not quite. Prompts count the messages people send. Credits count everything that work costs, which includes what happens behind the scenes after a message is sent.

Can I see usage for just one workspace in my organization?

Yes. On the organization Usage page, use the workspace selector next to the date range.
