How to Add or Update Your Company VAT Number for TeamAI Billing

This guide explains how to add or update your company's VAT (Value Added Tax) number in your TeamAI billing information. Providing a valid VAT number ensures accurate tax calculations on your invoices and helps maintain proper accounting records for your company.

For New TeamAI Subscribers

When you purchase a TeamAI subscription for the first time:

  1. During Checkout: You'll be prompted to enter your billing address.

  2. VAT Number Field: Look for the "VAT Number" field within the billing information section. It may also be labeled "VAT ID" or "Tax ID."

  3. Enter Your VAT Number: Carefully enter your company's VAT number.

  4. Complete Your Purchase: Proceed to finalize your subscription purchase.

For Existing TeamAI Subscribers

If you already have an active TeamAI subscription:

  1. Navigate to Billing Settings: Go to Settings β†’ Billing in your TeamAI account.

  2. Access Manage Plan: In the "Plan & Usage" section, click the "Manage" dropdown.

  3. Select "Manage Plan": Choose "Manage Plan" from the dropdown menu. This will open the Chargebee billing portal.

  4. Billing & Shipping Addresses: In the Chargebee portal, click on "Billing & Shipping Addresses."

  5. Edit Billing Address: Click on your current billing address to edit it.

  6. Update VAT Number: Update your billing details by adding or modifying your VAT number in the designated field.

Important Details

  • Timing: VAT number updates will apply to future invoices. Please allow 2-5 minutes for the changes to fully reflect in the system.

  • VAT Number Format: Ensure you enter your VAT number in the correct format.

  • Compliance: Providing a valid VAT number is essential for accurate tax calculations and compliance with tax regulations.

  • Keep Records: Maintain records of all VAT-related information, including invoices and VAT registration details.
