TeamAI empowers users to interact with custom AI agents, also known as GPTs, which are tailored by team owners, admins, or members. These agents can combine specific instructions, extra knowledge, and various skills or tools to cater to your team's unique needs. This article will guide you through the process of using and interacting with these custom agents.

Please note that custom agents are only available to paid plans.

How to Build Your Own Assistant (GPT)

Before diving into using custom agents, it's important to know that anyone can easily build their own GPT without any coding knowledge. For a comprehensive guide on creating your own GPT, please refer to our article: How to Build Your Own AI Assistant (Custom GPT).

Using Agents (GPTs)

There are two primary ways to interact with custom agents in TeamAI:

Method 1: Using the Agents Area

  • Click on the "Agents" tab in the left sidebar to view a list of all the agents created by your team.

  • Locate the assistant you want to use and click on the "Use Assistant" button.

  • You can now start chatting with your chosen assistant (GPT) in a dedicated conversation.

Method 2: Using the Right Sidebar

  1. Click on the "Chats" tab in the left sidebar to navigate to the main chat area.

  2. In the right sidebar, click on the "Assistant" tab.

  3. Here, you'll find a list of custom agents (GPTs) created by your team.

  4. Hover over an assistant to reveal two buttons: "Switch Assistant" and "New Chat."

    1. Clicking "New Chat" will open a new conversation with the selected assistant.

    2. Clicking "Switch Assistant" will allow you to change the active assistant within the current conversation.

Using Multiple Agents in the Same Chat

TeamAI allows you to use multiple agents within the same conversation, providing flexibility and the ability to access various specialized GPTs as needed.

To switch between agents during a conversation:

  1. In the right sidebar, click on the "Agent" tab.

  2. Click on the "Switch Agent" button in the list of custom agents (GPTs).

  3. Select the desired assistant from the list.

  4. Continue your conversation with the newly selected assistant.

You can switch agents at any time, allowing you to bring in relevant GPTs with the full context of the conversation.
