TeamAI empowers users to interact with custom AI assistants, also known as GPTs, which are tailored by team owners, admins, or members. These assistants can combine specific instructions, extra knowledge, and various skills or tools to cater to your team's unique needs. This article will guide you through the process of using and interacting with these custom assistants.

How to Build Your Own Assistant (GPT)

Using Assistants (GPTs)
There are two primary ways to interact with custom assistants in TeamAI:
Method 1: Using the Assistants Area
Click on the "Assistants" tab in the left sidebar to view a list of all the assistants created by your team.
Locate the assistant you want to use and click on the "Use Assistant" button.
You can now start chatting with your chosen assistant (GPT) in a dedicated conversation.
Method 2: Using the Right Sidebar
Click on the "Chats" tab in the left sidebar to navigate to the main chat area.
In the right sidebar, click on the "Assistant" tab.
Here, you'll find a list of custom assistants (GPTs) created by your team.
Hover over an assistant to reveal two buttons: "Switch Assistant" and "New Chat."
Clicking "New Chat" will open a new conversation with the selected assistant.
Clicking "Switch Assistant" will allow you to change the active assistant within the current conversation.
Using Multiple Assistants in the Same Chat
TeamAI allows you to use multiple assistants within the same conversation, providing flexibility and the ability to access various specialized GPTs as needed.
To switch between assistants during a conversation:
In the right sidebar, click on the "Assistant" tab.
Click on the "Switch Assistant" button in the list of custom assistants (GPTs).
Select the desired assistant from the list.
Continue your conversation with the newly selected assistant.
You can switch assistants at any time, allowing you to bring in relevant GPTs with the full context of the conversation.
