TeamAI offers a powerful feature that allows users to extend the capabilities of their AI agents by integrating both built-in and custom plugins. This article will guide you through the process of creating an assistant and configuring it with these plugins to unlock new functionalities and tailor it to your specific needs.

Step 1: Create a Category and Assistant

1. Navigate to https://[your-custom-subdomain].teamai.com/assistants.

2. Create a category for your agents to keep them organized.

3. Within the category, create a new agent by providing a title and selecting the appropriate category.

Step 2: Configure Your Assistant

1. In the assistant configuration settings, select the actions you want your assistant to perform. These actions can include built-in plugins like browsing the web or creating images.

2. For example, if you want to create a DALL-E 3 assistant for your team, simply select that action from the list of built-in plugins.

Step 3: Integrate Custom Plugins

1. If you have existing custom plugins, you can make third-party APIs available to your assistant.

2. To create a new custom plugin:

- Navigate to the "Custom plugins" section in the left sidebar of your TeamAI dashboard.

- Click on the "Create plugin" button.

- Name your plugin and click "Create."

- You can create multiple plugins based on your selected plan.

3. When configuring your assistant, select the desired custom plugins you want to integrate. You can choose multiple plugins to expand your assistant's capabilities.

Step 4: Publish Your Assistant (Custom GPT)

1. Once you've completed the configuration and integrated the desired plugins, click "Publish" to make your assistant available for your team to use.

2. Your team members can now interact with the assistant and leverage its enhanced capabilities provided by the built-in and custom plugins.

By integrating built-in and custom plugins, you can create powerful, versatile AI agents that cater to your team's specific requirements. Whether you need to browse the web, generate images, or access third-party APIs, TeamAI's plugin system empowers you to build agents that streamline your workflows and boost productivity.
