Method 1: Upload Document for Temporary Chat
Direct Upload Process
Use this approach for one-off document analysis without permanent storage.
Click the "+" button located at the bottom of the chat interface
Select "Upload a PDF" from the options menu
Choose your file from your computer and confirm upload
Wait for processing (may take longer for large documents)
Type your query (example: "Give me a summary of the doc")
Result: TeamAI analyzes the document and responds based on its contents within the current chat session.
Important: Documents uploaded this way are NOT permanently stored in your collections. They cannot be referenced in future chats or by other team members unless manually added to a collection.

Using Internal Mode
Access permanent collections for frequently referenced documents and team resources.
Locate "Data Controls" in the sidebar
Review available collections in your workspace
Click "Modes" section at the bottom of the chat interface

Result: Your chat queries search only within the selected collection for focused, relevant answers.

Click "Internal" mode at the bottom of the chat interface
